We would like to welcome Dr. Katherine Bentley and Dr. Heri (Eddie) Menendez!
Our Pediatricians in Ashland and Mansfield Ohio would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of our patients in the Richland and Ashland Counties and to inform you of our NEW PEDIATRICIANS, Dr. Katherine Bentley and Dr. Heriberto (EDDIE) MENENDEZ (starting in October 2009).
Dr. Bentley has been practicing Pediatrics in the Ashland area for the last 10 years, as she is leaving CHPA of Ashland to join us at Pediatric Consultants.
She has agreed to provide us with more hours of availability each week (2 to 5 partial days in the summer, and 2-3 partial days including Saturdays in the Fall) so as to see new patients to our practice, that may be coming to us to see Dr. Bentley. We are thrilled to have her join our staff, and her faith in Christ will be a large asset as we move forward with a missional mindset, in our desires to bless our communities with highly effective and loving care for the children.
Dr. Menendez has been practicing for over 20 years in one other location. He is a dynamic and highly qualified Physician, who is excited to join a Practice that clearly pursues the ministry of Jesus Christ in the medical profession.
Also, Dr. Menendez is bilingual, able to speak fluently in English and Spanish, and therefore, we can better serve our patients who have Spanish as their first language. He loves to laugh, and work hard to help people. We are VERY EXCITED to bring him to our staff.
We are still currently inviting new patients to enroll with us if you are looking for comprehensive and loving Pediatric Care for newborns, infants, children, and/or young adults (0-21). We have early morning clinics Mon-Fri for walk-in patient visits (for established patients) in both Ashland and Mansfield, and we are also open in Ashland on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12 noon. We also have all school required vaccines for children, and other vaccines as well.
Our philosophy is to care for the individual and the family. We also believe in Comprehensive Care, seeking to bless people in heart, soul, and mind. Pediatric Consultants has made some specific changes recently to take a very proactive approach to effectively meet medical, spiritual, and behavioral mental health needs.
We have 5 Full-time Providers, 3 Physicians and 2 Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioners offering medical care in our Pediatric Consultant’s offices in Ashland (1522 Claremont Ave.) and Mansfield. We are also still seeking to add more new Physicians and Providers to our staff to meet the needs of our growing patient base, which has grown in numbers for 9 straight years, and by 16% in the last year!
Our Providers (Dr.'s and C.P.N.P.'s) are greatly balanced with young energy and experienced wisdom, which greatly helps them to identify with and to communicate well with our patients and their families. Good communication between our Pediatricians and our Patients is a very high value for us. We also try to be very child friendly in every detail (such as our office arrangements).
In addition to our medical services, we also have a strong partnership with CityHill Behavioral Mental Health (1st year in 2007). Dr. Brad Olson and Child Psychiatrist Dr. Lori Solaro (of Christian Children’s Home of Ohio) can be seen in the CityHill offices located in Ashland at 1590 Crestview Drive in Suite A (right behind our building). CityHill also provides in home, intensive home based counseling with 7 Christian Counselors in life-changing ways.
Our faith in Jesus Christ is important to us. Prayer with our Physicians or Providers, free Bibles, and Christian music are available to patients and family members in our practices.
